S42: Copying Contacts to Your Phone

You can copy contacts to your phone from the SIM card, the shared internal storage or a memory card.

Option 1: To import contacts from the SIM card

1. Open the Contacts app.

2. Tap Fix & manage at the bottom right corner. 

3. Tap Import from SIM. 

4. Select the contact(s) and tap Import.

Option 2: To import contacts from the internal storage or memory card

1. Open the Contacts app.

2. Tap Fix & manage at the bottom right corner. 

3. Tap Import from file.

4. Select the account you wish to import the contacts to (i.e. your Google or Outlook account). In the case that there are no online accounts added to your phone, a pop up window will ask "Import contacts from vCard?". Tap OK.

5. Tap the contacts.vcf file on your memory card or internal storage and the import will be done shortly after.
